2010 in a flash
In the beginig of this year we planned to go to Egypt but God redirected our path. It was when we didn't feel led to go at that time that things began to fall apart around us. In the middle of this hard time we felt God calling us to go to Alexandria, Virginia which is part of Washington DC, just as He had called moses out of his homeland into a new country. God told us we would be in a very different place in a year and that was true. Through the difficult times this year God was faithful and He led us into our new season in Alexandira, Virginia.
After 5 years of faithfully serving as campus directors at Long Beach State University and 2 years at Dominguez Hills God moved us into a new season of ministry. It was very hard to leave the ministry on those two campuses and all the students we had worked with behind, but God gave us a promise that the work on those campuses will be fine. It is encouraging now to see their continued growth and maturity as they work with the local churches and volunteer staff that took over the work after we moved across the country.
This year as a mentioned earlier we also moved across the country, which was a huge leap of faith. Since moving we have seen God meet us here in numerous ways. We have met many new friends and connected with a church family. We have seen Hip Hope Open Mic outreaches take off in one church and are about to start it in another. God has provided a place for us to stay and new ministry opportunities.
